DAB (Digital Audio Broadcast)
DAB, as designed for implementation in Europe, is broadcast terrestrially. It is received using a tiny non-directional stub antenna. It provides CD-like quality radio programs without the annoying interference and signal distortion associated with mobile radios. In addition, the system can offer text, pictures, data and even motion video.
